Renowned lawyer Fred Muwema of Muwema and Co Advocates has dismissed claims on social media that he was paid 900 million shillings to withdraw from Amama Mbabazi’s Petition pending a ruling at the Supreme Court. Speaking to NTV, Muwema said that there are some Bellicose individuals inside and outside the state trying to frustrate Mbabazi by bridging a gap between them. NTV also spoke to Information Minister Jim Muhwezi who also refuted claims that he is the one who clinched the 900 million shilling deal with Muwema. Muwema did not appear during the Mbabazi petition.
