
Lawyer Severino Twinobusingye’s court award slashed from 12 billion to 20 million – NTV

The Court of Appeal has reduced a 12 billion shillings award given as costs to a private lawyer Severino Twinobusingye to 20 million shilling. Twinobusingye was granted the award in 2013 for defending former cabinet ministers including former Prime Minister Patrick Amama Mbabazi, Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kuteesa and then internal affairs Minister Hillary Onek from vacating their offices on allegations of bribery.
