Kampala, Uganda – East Africa / December 14, 2014
The NRM party’s deputy Spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo, says the former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and his wife walked out of the Central Executive Committee at State House Nakasero last night. The vocal NRM stalwart says Mbabazi walked out in protest over a resolution to have the position of the Secretary General appointed by the president. But Mbabazi refuted the allegations on his twitter handle.
