
Mbabazi Petition: Supreme Court to rule on “Friends of the Court” application on Monday – NTV

The Supreme Court will two days from today, deliver a verdict on whether it can accept applications filed by Makerere University Law dons & civil society to join the presidential election petition as friends of court. This was the culmination of a four-hour battle of wits and articulation based on case law, precedence and scholarly writings. Chief Justice Bart Katureebe who led a panel of nine Justices revealed that the superior court of record will deliver a judgement on Monday.
